On January 12-21, 2015, the Imagine Center for Conflict Transformation, the Okan University (Istanbul) and the Association of Young Historians (Yerevan) held the “Turkish-Armenian Dialogue and School of Discourse Transformation”.

The purpose of the project “Turkish-Armenian Dialogue and School of Discourse Transformation” was to facilitate dialogue and partnership among Turkish and Armenian educational institutions and students of social sciences, to develop inclusive discourses in the Armenian-Turkish relations and to increase awareness of the largely marginalized peace and conflict transformation narratives. The project built capacity in young professionals integrating conflict transformation practices into their academic paths and empowering them to get engaged in fostering a culture of dialogue and coexistence between their societies building a vision for the future of the Armenian-Turkish relations.
